Menopause Cafe - Brampton

Back to Activities

The Menopause Cafe is where you can connect with other women and enjoy informal chats with experts on menopause, heart health, nutrition and more.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • Sharing experiences in a safe, non-judgemental space helps reduce feelings of isolation
  • Talking openly about menopause can reduce anxiety and stigma
  • Helps people feel more informed and in control of their menopause journey

"I thought the menopause group was incredible. Just wanted to say a huge thank you for having this space available. "

Below is a short video on how to access the hub from the car park

What to expect

Its a relaxed, welcoming space where you can talk openly about your experiences of menopause and perimenopause without judgement. The sessions are informal and supportive, offering the chance to share, listen, or simply sit quietly with others who understand. There is no pressure to speak, and everyone is encouraged to take part in a way that feels comfortable for them.

The café is based around gentle conversation, practical information, and peer support rather than medical advice. There will also be talks by experts on various related topics.

You will hopefully leave feeling reassured, less alone, and more confident in managing symptoms, with a better understanding of what support is available. The focus is on connection, wellbeing, and normalising conversations around menopause in a friendly community setting.
