CARESCO's charity shop is run by a small team and over 30 volunteers. It offers the usual range of charity shop goods including: clothing, shoes, toys, household linen, jewellery, books, DVDs, CDs, small electricals and bric-a-brac.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- volunteering with the shop lets you learn new transferable skills
- you will meet others and build friendships
- it feels good to support others and all proceeds do exactly that
