The Compassionate Friends

Back to Activities

The Compassionate Friends is a charitable organisation of bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents dedicated to the support and care of other similarly bereaved family members who have suffered the death of a child or children from a month old and and from any cause.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • Talking through grief you are experiencing can help you feel less alone
  • It helps to share experiences with other like minded people
  • Being somewhere that understands your feelings without having to explain can be helpful

What to Expect

A warm friendly welcome from people who have understanding, empathy and compassion.  The Compassionate Friends is run for and by bereaved parents and siblings.
