Free Flow Friday

Back to Activities

Free Flow Friday is a safe space providing you with a chance to connect and talk with others in the recovery community. You can give holistic therapies a try, get involved in arts and crafts, or just enjoy a cuppa and cake.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • it’s a chance to connect with others and receive mutual aid
  • it’s a chance to chat and share experiences with like minded people
  • it’s a chance to try different therapies like auricular acupuncture, which can be very relaxing

What to expect?

No booking needed, just join Free Flow Friday for coffee and cake or a freshly cooked sausage sandwich! On arrival you will be greeted by a staff member or trained volunteer.

The main entrance is to the side of the building down the gravel pathway, just look out for the sandwich board.

Parking is not available on site but there is a car park nearby at Malthouse Close. The building is old and not designed to be fully accessible but if you let them know what your needs are ahead of time, staff can work with you to ensure you can safely attend.

They also offer auricular acupuncture, a guided creative activity space, and guests from One Leisure with sports-focussed activities.

The recovery café is supported by the Cambridgeshire Recovery Service (CRS). For more info on CRS click here.
