Gemma’s Hearts

Back to Activities
Gemma’s Hearts are a local charity that fundraise, maintain and provide 24 hour lifesaving defibrillators and offer training to schools to become HeartSafe*

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • Access to defibrillators in the first vital few minutes of cardiac arrest can save lives offering precious treatment time.
  • Placing automated external defibrillators (AEDs), along with providing a proper management system and training for employees on how to use the devices, can mean the difference between life and death.
  • Heart Safe provides local schools with vital life saving knowledge.

‘Gemma’s Hearts fundraising , maintenance, and training around AED’S  have saved many lives.’
