Huntingdonshire Health Walks are led by friendly, specially trained leaders who provide encouragement and support, and make sure no one gets left behind. The walks are over various difficulties of terrain – walks are available for all abilities.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- Walking is a good way to start getting active;
- It is a group activity and a great way to meet new people;
- Getting outside and exploring your local area is energising.
‘Walking has always been there for me, my confidence has grown immensely. I’m a totally different person now than I was ten years ago and I owe so much of that to walking.’
