Huntingdon – Fusion Family and Youth Projects

Back to Activities

Fusion family and youth projects provide weekly youth groups, holiday activities, in school groups and trips for families in the school holidays

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • Young people can try new things and gain new skills
  • Young people can meet and make new friends
  • Young people can volunteer and support other young people in the clubs

“To me being an orange t-shirt volunteer means to be someone the children can trust they can go to with any issue.  My favourite part is helping the children learn new things and enjoy the games and arts and crafts.  We encourage the children to do as much as possible even if they are scared, we are there for them” Abi (16)

What to expect
Fusion is made up of many youth clubs both during term time and also during the school holidays.
There are many different activities for the children and young people to take part in at each club.

Some activities that are available are:

  • Team games
  • Arts and crafts
  • Lego and board games
  • Pool
  • Football and other sports activities
  • Trips, such as going to see a show or to ‘meet the pets’ at Pets at Home.
