Improve your fitness, balance, flexibility and strength at exercise classes designed for the over 60s. Whatever your fitness levels, there are seated, supported and standing options.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • It has been designed specifically for the over 60s to help older adults gain or improve their overall fitness with fun, easy to follow routines and exercises.
  • It is fully inclusive with options to take part seated, supported or standing.
  • It is a group exercise class which brings people together in a sociable, fun and friendly environment.

What to expect

Move it or Lose it believe that age is just a number and how important it is to stay active as we age.

They provide expert led exercise sessions, designed to improve flexibility, strength & balance.  You can take part either seated or standing, there is no floorwork at all.

The classes incorporate a range of exercises, including stretching, low-impact cardio, and resistance training using bands, to target different areas of the body. By engaging in these activities regularly, you’ll not only improve your balance, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and coordination, but also boost your bone health.

Please wear comfy clothes and bring a bottle of water with you.

The Yaxley location is usually entered via the fire exit door,  look for the little A-frame sign
