Neurodivergent Neots is a peer-led support group for neurodivergent adults (18+) in the St Neots area.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- It enables neurodivergent adults to share experiences, ask for advice and make connections in a safe, comfortable environment.
- It helps neurodivergent adults feel less isolated.
- It offers a space where neurodivergent adults can be themselves without fear of judgement.
"It was so nice to have a space where the way my mind worked was understood."

What to expect
Neurodivergent Neots is only for neurodivergent adults (18+). You do not need to have a formal diagnosis to join the group, they also welcome people who self identify or are questioning whether they may be neurodivergent.
The meetings offer a safe, neurodivergent-only space for you to utilise as you wish. You can contribute to conversations or you can just sit and listen. You can stim, pace, sit in strange positions, wear noise cancelling headphones and so on without fear of judgement. You will be accepted just as you are.
The group is led by Molly and Peter who are both neurodivergent themselves. One or both of them will be at every meeting. They won't pounce on you as you enter the room but will be there for you to ask questions of or seek reassurance from if necessary. Meetings are informal without a set structure or agenda, they are happy to just see what people would like to chat about and where the conversation naturally leads.
Each meeting lasts two hours but there's no expectation on you to stay for the whole session and if you just need to step outside for a break or some air then that's absolutely fine.
They try to have activities available to give you something to do (if you wish) while you chat or listen. Examples include colouring, painting & crochet.

If you're interested in attending any of the meetings, they ask you to email them first on [email protected] . That gives you a chance to ask any questions you may have and they can then give you details of the next meeting. You do not need to decide or notify them in advance of a meeting of whether or not you will attend, you can just turn up if you feel like it.
If you feel you need to bring a parent or carer for support then they ask them to wait in the main cafe area, outside of the room the meeting is in, so they can keep the group as a neurodivergent-only space.
If you'd like to bring a friend, Molly and Peter suggest that you ask your friend to email Neurodivergent Neots themselves ahead of attending.
