Sapley Park is situated on the outskirts of Huntingdon and is within walking distance of other town amenities such as Tower Fields Leisure park.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • Getting outside and doing some physical activity is good not only for your physical health, but your mental health as well
  • There is space to sit , to be outdoors and take notice of your surroundings

What to Expect

There is plenty of parking available for those attending football matches as well as simply visiting the park. The onsite sports pavilion has changing rooms with toilets for groups to use.

The small play area also attracts parents and families to the park and offers them a space to relax whilst their children are playing.

There is also a memorial area that was installed in 2017 and marks the 40th anniversary of the Oxmoor plane crash.

Car park entrances off Sapley Road and Stoney Close. Sapley Playing Fields can be accessed via many footpaths through the surrounding estates.
