St Ives Day Centre is a unique community charity founded in 1979 to provide 5 day a week day service for the elderly, lonely and frail within the local community.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- They offer companionship/company in a friendly, warm environment offering a chance to make new friends
- There is a range of activities to keep mind and body active including seated exercises and games
- There is a hot meal at lunchtime to ensure everyone who attends is eating at least one healthy meal every day

What to expect
It is the only day centre of its kind in the St Ives area providing essential services to its members offering transport to/from the Day Centre, social contact in a friendly environment and a hot, freshly cooked lunch each day.
More information
Just as important it offers a much needed break for members carers many of whom provide round the clock care with this service giving them perhaps their only respite.
