What to expect
Switch Now believe that groups should be age appropriate and reflect similar opportunities that other like-minded individuals encounter, that’s why they aim to offer Switch Social only to young adults (18 – 30 years of age).
If you are interested in attending Switch Socials, then please contact them and a registration form will be sent out. Once they have your details they will contact you to discuss your interest and the next step, usually this is a taster session.
Once a place has been confirmed, they will arrange payment set up and invite you to access the Facebook page (if you wish to), which will be used to keep you regularly updated.
They also encourage the opportunity for individuals to have a say and give their input into their Switch Social activities. Switch Socials are about everybody being involved and where possible, they will endeavour to create as many opportunities as practically possible, for everyone. Activities are led by the attendees, but favourites include quiz night, bingo, karaoke, campfire and games nights.
There are also seasonal activities, such as pancake evening / shrove Tuesday, Christmas party, etc. The calendar of activities is sent out at the end of September and people can choose to attend all 10 for the year or choose the ones they prefer.
