For almost 100 years, Woodgreen have been dedicated to helping pets and their people – giving urgent care to vulnerable pets in need of homes, as well as free advice and hands-on support to pet owners. Join them as a volunteer or learn more in their virtual classes.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- Volunteering in Woodgreen’s charity shops is incredibly rewarding for you, and for pets and people in need
- You can become part of a friendly team of like-minded people
- You can learn new skills, gain valuable experience, strengthen your CV and have the opportunity to complete qualifications in Retail
‘I started volunteering because I met some of the team and instantly felt like part of the Wood Green family. Whilst volunteering for Wood Green, I have achieved an NVQ in Retail.”
Tracy, Lead Volunteer’
