Dhiverse offers specialist counselling services, providing support around Relationships and Sex, Sexual Behaviours, Sexual Health, Gender Identity, Sexuality, Sexual Trauma, and HIV.

Counselling is for children, young people, and adult, and they use different types of counselling depending on your issues so that you get the best possible support. Counsellors are qualified to Level 4 or above or working towards this if they are trainees. They are registered with a professional body.

For adults, sessions are low cost and can be online or in person in some areas.

For children and young people (from age 9 up to age 18, or up to age 25 if you have a learning disability or autism), sessions are free if you live in Cambridgeshire or Peterborough. There is a low cost if you live outside of this area.

Education around sexual behaviours

Dhiverse offers short-term educational programmes for individuals aged 9 to 18 – or above 18 if they have a learning disability or autism – who have engaged, or are at risk of engaging, in concerning or inappropriate sexual behaviours. Sessions can be delivered to groups or one-to-one. Participation is entirely voluntary and requires the participant’s consent.

They also run quarterly ‘Understanding Sexual Behaviours’ webinars for professionals, parents, and carers, which provide practical insights into the reasons behind these behaviours and offer initial guidance on how best to support the individuals involved.
