Switch Now

Back to Support

Switch Now's mission is to progress neurodiverse young adults into work by recognising, developing their skills and supporting them to reach their potential, leading to a better future

What to expect

Starting something new can feel scary. At Switch Now, they understand that, and they will help you feel safe and supported from the beginning.

Switch Now is a training centre for young adults with additional needs, learning difficulties (LDD), ASD, ADHD or those facing barriers to being able to access and develop their work skills. It is a calm and friendly place where you can learn at your own pace.

When you join Switch Now, you become a “co-worker.” This means you will be part of a team working towards building skills and getting ready for work in the future.

They will take time to get to know you. They’ll find out what you are good at, what you enjoy, and what you need help with. This is called “vocational profiling.” It helps them make sure you get the right support.

You will take part in real work activities, either at Switch Now or in the local area. You can also work towards getting qualifications. You won’t be expected to do everything straight away—they will help you step by step.

You’ll learn useful skills, grow in confidence, and start to feel ready for work, all in a place where you are respected and understood.
